I ♥ Lilly

Lilly Pulitzer is one of my favorite fashion designers of all time. I admire her so much that each time I am driving down the A1A, I have to stop by her house for inspiration. I have always loved the story of how it all started with a juice stand in Palm Beach--and with patience and determination, she made her classic shift dress the talk of the town--from Key West to Cape Cod, the Hamptons to the White House (Jacqueline Kennedy was a big fan!) Her whimsical patterns and fun-loving spirit made her the go-to brand for the stylish housewife--leisurely luxury--and quintessential Florida.

I am so happy that Lilly's legacy lives on in the brand today, and I always look forward to the next style, collection, and print. (I am also very fortunate to have an original Lilly dress from the 60s--one with a label that says "The Lilly" and features beautiful floral patterns and latticework at the hem.) And you might have guessed, but most of my favorites are nautical-inspired (Get Nauti, Fresh Catch, You Gotta Regatta, Docksider) Visit My Lilly to see these beautiful prints!

The Resort Collection just came out November 1st, and this season, I am loving the blue tones, and casual but classy pieces. The Devina Lace Tunic Dress is perfect for a romantic dinner at The Breakers. The Allie Packable Quilted Vest is delightful for walking the beach on a cool Florida night. The Marielle Boatneck Intarsia Sweater is ideal for a lunch date at Hamburger Heaven, and the Bryn Cashmere Cardigan is my go-to look for setting sail aboard another Royal Caribbean cruise.

"Style isn't just about what you wear...style is about how you live."
